Grants work MIXING unit 25

Firstly, i listened to the track, was a lovely song but obviously need mixing.
I rearranged the track putting them in order of prominence the drums followed by the guitars and so on. I put all the tracks on the same volume(0.0) so when i was ready to listen to the individually i could hear then on the same level.mixing the drums was difficult as you had to make 6 tracks sound like one , also automation on the toms and bypassed it so that the tom was prominent as it was faded and unheard. The kick drum was not heard so i messed with the channel EQ and added reverb and also some distortion to give it a kick, as this kind of genre required a solid drum beat to drive the song. i used silver reverb on the bass drum also to give it a beefier sound. I then moved on to the bass guitar, i added distortion on the bass as it wasn't very prominent and the genre needed the bass guitar to set the mood of the piece as it was the back bone of the piece.
Guitar one also needed a boost so i compressed guitar 1 and i used the send bar to send the effect to the other guitar parts as it would be easier in the long run.
i panned the electric guitar and the synth as i thought that would have more of an effect.
The piano was very faded so i added a little reverb and to make it stand out a bit more and turned it up on the main channel.
The synths were very bold, i had to level it out as it was ver powering i added some EQ as i also used the automation tool to enhance the volume of the synth.
After deciding on what type of reverb would fit the main vocals i finally decide to use the ptverb as the gold verb sounded to too choir focused and did not fit the genre of music.
I will bounce the track to an MP3 File and then upload to to soundcloud.
