Band workshop
'KISS ON' was chosen on 09/11/12 in performance class to be performed with a live band.
Half of the class performed my song it was a great and rare experience which i thoroughly enjoyed.
Shevelle held down the skank on the keyboards and also accompanied me and Bea with the vocals.
John was feeling the bass and a played very well according to the genre.
Bea's vocal harmony was great, she really understood and the lyrics and sung with conviction.
I played acoustic guitar and lead vocals.
Originally 'kiss on' was written and sung as a folk song but things change, the genre changed during the workshop to more of a reggae feel appose to folk, this was surprising but it worked very well and the audience seemed to enjoy it.I used a capo on the acoustic guitar and I used a foot-switch in the for the bridge. As a whole it was a great ensemble and the instrumentalists and singers really supported me and played very well.
